OUR START

Burnham & Flower Insurance Group was founded in 1966 by Homer J. Flower and Duane F. Burnham. The company was established primarily to provide retirement programs to Michigan Township Officials and Employees.

Since then, evolving from one agency into six separate corporations, and serving over 2,600 customers in the public and private sectors in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, Burnham & Flower has grown to be one of the largest municipal insurance organizations in the Midwest.

Burnham & Flower Insurance Group is a full-service, independent insurance agency specializing in property & casualty coverage, employee benefits, risk management programs and innovative insurance solutions.
